About us
KOB was founded in Germany in 1903 and has been developing and producing medical textiles for over 120 years. The portfolio of KOB includes bandages and woven carrier fabrics, all of which are developed in Germany. KOB’s superior product quality has made it the global market leader for elastic medical textiles for many years. KOB has served the US market since the late 1950s with remarkable success. To support KOB’s customer centric approach, KOB founded KOB USA Corporation in 2015.
KOB develops and produces bandages and fabrics for a wide range of therapeutic purposes for wound care, phlebology & lymphology, and sports medicine & orthopedics as well as transdermal carriers for the pharmaceutical industry. A special team of innovation and development managers at KOB is dedicated to and responsible for developing custom products and solutions to meet the specific needs of both patients and users.
Our production of woven and knitted textiles covers the entire process chain which includes spinning, warp-beaming, weaving, knitting, finishing, and packaging according to the most stringent international standards and customers’ requirements.
