About us
Who we are
Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) is the economic development agency of the Federal Republic of Germany. With two locations in Germany, 60 offices abroad and its network of partners throughout the world, GTAI supports German companies setting up in foreign markets, promotes Germany as a business location and assists foreign companies setting up in Germany.
What we do
As well as supporting export promotion, we also recruit and advise foreign investors. We also strengthen the image of Germany as a business location and promote the new federal states.
Our Mission
As the economic development agency of the Federal Republic of Germany, GTAI is tasked with the following:
- Securing the success of Germany’s small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector in international competition
- Strengthening Germany as a business location by attracting foreign direct investment
- Positioning Germany as one of the most attractive business locations internationally
- Supporting the internationalization of the economy of the new federal states
